Earnings Preview Wednesday July 29, 2009

Today is another huge earnings day with 257 companies expected to report earnings. The companies which I will be keeping a close eye on for today are:

ConocoPhillips (COP)
Hess Corp (HES)
O'Reilly Automotive, Inc. (ORLY)
Sprint Nextel Corp (S)
Time Warner Cable Inc (TWC)
Time Warner Inc (TWX)
Visa Inc (V)

I'm interested in what both ConocoPhillips and Hess have to say about the future of the oil & gas industry, and if they believe the economy has bottomed. I believe Visa should have another great quarter, but really want to hear their outlook on the consumer. I'm also anxious to hear what sprint has to say about the impact the Palm (PALM) Pre has made if any. This could be very good news for Palm. Sphere: Related Content
